Our Programmes and Projects
Since it was established in the year 2000, IMET2000 has been working to address the immense need for upgrading healthcare in Palestine.
It facilitates continuous lifelong learning and professional development for doctors, nurses, dentists, paramedics, community health workers and allied health professionals by providing a core matrix of e-learning and self-directed learning which is both accessible and cost effective.
Our current work is particularly focused on mental and physical trauma in children resulting from conflict, severe economic deprivation, torture and abuse.
Providing affordable healthcare services to poor rural village communities in Africa and India as well as in Tibetan refugee communities in North India.
IMET2000 has been running a programme for young physicians and surgeons, nurses and biomedical research workers since the year 2000. Much has been achieved through its partnership with the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences and the UNESCO Chair of Cryobiology based in Kharkov.
IMET2000 also has extensive collaborations with the Kharkov State Medical School. This programme has been run by the late Academician Valentin Grischenko in the Ukraine and Professors Barry Fuller and Colin Green in IMET2000.
